European Commission published guidelines to help Member States with public procurement issues
The Commission published 29th of October guidelines to assist the public officials in the Member States on how to identify and avoid the most common errors in public procurement project that are co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds.
The Commission states that the guidelines will improve the efficiency effectiveness of public procurement, ensure transparency and regularity and by that way make sure the quality and fairness of competition is maintained.
The guideline itself contains case studies, practical questions the practitioners often face, real-life examples and templates to help the practitioners with their everyday work, and if they face those difficulties how to handle them.
